Take it this would need an air box made up to allow to run a single throttle body. Would it pretty much be as good as running a set of jenveys if set up right?

You need the carbon airbox along with the throttle body. Also this uses 8 injectors. It would be much quieter than itbs

The 8 injectors is optional I imagine, would run fine with 4

I will get more pics of this tomorrow. Could do with fi ding out dimensions of the carbon plenum so I can have one made up. Also found out these ran the 70mm single jenvey throttle body too.

Here is the spoox inlet I have bought. Has the option to run 4 or 8 injectors, has 90mm long carbon trumpets, thenk they maybe 45s but will f8nd out tomorrow when it arrived

need to have a shell made up like the one below and they also run a 70mm jenvey single throttle body

Be interesting to see how it works but my thoughts are it's a compromise of a full itb setup

Cant see this being to bad to be honest if it was good enough to run on a btcc car. May try running standard throttle body in this to get it running see what happens till I get hold of an omex or something

Yes but the BTCC cars had to run a single throttle because of regs.

Just fancied something different to everyone else. The touring cars still made good power from these so cant see it being bad.

That's different to the touring car ones I've seen, they usually still look like a standard manifold with plenum etc and ran a odd shape carbon airbox where the oe ones fit but a lot larger. As far as I know all they did was cut them open, remove the trumpets and open the runners then weld it back up.

I've never seen another one of those so it'll be interesting to see how it goes.

They were used on the 406s mainley with the 2.0 XU engines. Seen 1 other 306 running this but with an alloy plenum. I have a pic somewhere, I will hunt it out
