If you go 1.9 hubs you will need 1.9 driveshafts also, and longer flexi hoses, I got my braided hoses from miles at pugracing when I converted mine. You will left with excessive pedal travel with the larger diameter calliper pistons so it's probably worth changing the m/c at the same time, I used a non abs 405 one.________________________________________ '90 1.6 205 GTi, '98 306 GTi-6 |

Just get some used ones for a few quid and prepare them yourself. This company will provide you a rebuild kit.Big Red clicky I prepared, painted and rebuilt some Saxo VTR calipers I salvaged from the scrap yard for my brothers Saxo 1.1 last year and got all the parts from Big Red in a kit. Easy peasy. I used this stuff to de rust the calipers because they were in a pretty poor state. Bilt Hamber Deox C clicky Really a very good product. This is what they looked like when i finished. ________________________________________ Team Peugeot Sport 308 GtiBlack T'99 Gti - may she rest in peace - written off in a shunt on the A329m |

So I want to go for braided hoses aswell, I now have base model hubs and all the other gear, gti's calipers and gti6 master cylinder is on it's way, do I need specific braided hoses ? Or can I just get Goodridge 205 1.6 gti stainless braided hoses ? Cheers for the help ! ________________________________________ Mlilley.205 Gti-6 engine Bilstein shocks front/rear with Eibach springs Powerflex poly bushed Much more to come hopefully... |
