Hi I've recently inherited a cylinder head with cams, I've been told they're not standard. Is there anyway of checking. The only markings I can see is 301. Any help appreciated |

Generally yes, the markings are on the end of the camshafts themselves, I can't remember whether it's the driven end or not though.________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Markings are on the non pulley end, have a look on Piper, Newman, Cat and Kent cams websites for the gti-6 cams, as they are the usual manufacturers, see if the markings match any of there model numbers. Only other way to tell is to measure the duration and lift and see if they match anything. ________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

The cams that I had in my S16 engine have the code KCPT2002 in the pulley side. Remove your pulleys and see if there´s any code written |
