I think this relates to this thread the best... correct me if I'm wrong  I am getting my Rallye ready for painting gradually I took the wing mirrors off thus evening and behind them on the inside is a 2 wired electrical block.. it's white, Is this for electric mirrors or? ________________________________________ A red rallye in progress! |

Nope brown 5 pin plugs for the mirrors. Could be for tweeters |

Oh right, that's good.. I wouldn't mind putting tweeters in, can you do that with manual mirrors? As electric ones have them built in the interior cover ________________________________________ A red rallye in progress! |

nope as you have said, they go where the manual adjusters sit so unless you want to chop the adjusters off and just push the glass to adjust in future... |

Iirc it's the power socket for heated mirrors. Pop a multi meter on it and switch on the heated rear window and it should power up. |

On and the leccy mirror plugs are 7 pin niall, all used on the n/s due to the temp and only 5 on the o/s. |
