Just working out all the wiring for my Omex and have realised that no where in the manual does it state about using a fuse anywhere to hopefully protect the ECU from any damage. Am i being stupid here or should i be fitting one on the 12v supply (and also on the 12v supplies to the relays) and if so, what rating?

Cheers

Hi

Yes you need a fuse into the supply of the unit i think it gives you what amps the unit runs at ( i can check mine in the morning if you need) so just go a little higher than that as for the supplies to the relays depends what your running as if its fans then this should just be feeding a relay not the main power supply?

if you mean the supplies to the relays from the battery then its a good idea or you may have a fire if anything goes wrong
