Need advice, I noticed yesterday a small pop noise after taking foot off the excellorator, the car is driving fine, just wondering if It could be a sticky throttle body or a maintenance issue? Any ideas or suggestions welcome, has anyone experienced the same issue.

If I remember correctly the throttle pot (tp1) had packed up

These and very temperamental and I have change mine twice and my buddies once

It would need to go back on the computer to set it up properly

Cheers this a great help, I will look into getting it sorted. Will it damage the car if I continue to drive the car as it is in the mean time?

Well it's fuelling will be out. My mate drove every day for about 1yr like this before I changed it. I got it running but was still over fuelling. Needs to be set properly

I'd also check the balance of the throttle bodies

Mine played up like that when the air temp sensor failed.

bad map, dodgy air flow sensor, dodgy TPS.

its a fuelling issue caused by one of the above. I'd start with changing the Air flow sensor
