Need advice, I noticed yesterday a small pop noise after taking foot off the excellorator, the car is driving fine, just wondering if It could be a sticky throttle body or a maintenance issue? Any ideas or suggestions welcome, has anyone experienced the same issue.________________________________________ stevenage black gti 6, 198bhp |

Cheers this a great help, I will look into getting it sorted. Will it damage the car if I continue to drive the car as it is in the mean time?________________________________________ stevenage black gti 6, 198bhp |

Well it's fuelling will be out. My mate drove every day for about 1yr like this before I changed it. I got it running but was still over fuelling. Needs to be set properly |

I'd also check the balance of the throttle bodies |

Mine played up like that when the air temp sensor failed.________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. I sell new and used welding equipment in the Hampshire area. bad map, dodgy air flow sensor, dodgy TPS.its a fuelling issue caused by one of the above. I'd start with changing the Air flow sensor ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |
