Unfortunately some thieving lowlife has helped themselves to my GTI6

White phase 1 P506 NFL

I came to find it in on axle stands with the wheels and exhaust removed
Smashed entry through drivers window.

Parts stolen include pro race 1.2's in black - (brand new) they did leave the spigot rings behind.
Stainless steel exhaust rear section - scopion I believe.

Interior is not in great shape, they have smahed and grabbed stereo etc.

It is unfortunately not economical for me to repair it now.

I will list the parts they kindly did not remove for me in the for sale section

these include

A straight phase 1 white gti6 shell with engine and gearbox.

A freshly rebuilt beam with new shafts and bearings on bbm solid mounts

A set of koni adjustable dampers with springs, complete struts with recent wheel bearings and drop links

A set of Brembo 406 brakes with discs and ferodo ds2500 pads - with braided hoses.

A high flow cat with stainless mid section silencer.

New cam belt kit.

I also have a set of non standard cams with ecu. I think they are piper but I will try to provide specs.
These were from my previous engine, the rev limit was upped to 8000rpm

Pm if you are interested in any of the ablove. In the mean time i will try to put some prices to these and list them in the for sale section.

Thanks
Rich

Gutting. My 205 was broken into for my bikes I'd left in the boot (it was in my shared garage so thought it'd be ok. I know exactly how you feel and it's anything but good! Sad

Sounds like a targeted job if they've turned up with a jack and some axle stands

They obviously knew what they were doing before hand.
What makes the situation even more annoying is that I had just got the car running again.
After throwing a rod at snetterton.

Do it!, mine had locking wheel nuts but they managed to get them off - I guess by forcing a socket over the locking nut.

You'll need to throw money at the car. Not on parts. Just stand near your car and throw loose change at it, I find this increases performance for a short period of time
