Are these all the same or are there different ones? I am after one for my 8v turbo engine. I am also running bosch 440cc injectors and pushing for around 250bhp. I am after an external pump aswell not internal.________________________________________ Clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |

There are different pump brands and i think these walbro pumps have a reliability issue. People normally go for the equivalent bosch pump(044).Although I have been searching as you do and i've found this. http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=78_169_382_392_398&products_id=83. ________________________________________ 208 GTI OwnerTurbo'd '6 project - work in progress |

I think some folk have had problems as mentioned with walbro 255s, possibly on high boost charger conversions. I've got one fitted to a standard engine and it's been spot on. 255s are all the same other than being either external or 'in tank' AFAIK.If you're worried I'd go with a Bosch 044, bit dearer but they're good for 550bhp. We recently paid around £150 for a bare pump from torques.co.uk In fact, here you go http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bosch-0580-254-044-External-High-Performane-Fuel-Pump-/160514237096?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item255f64e2a8 He does discount for 205drivers.com members too, top bloke! ________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |
