Well as some of you may now I’m doing some smalltime rallying in Denmark and are faced with the same dilemma as most others, getting the most for my money.

Therefor I’m split between having:

Throttle bodies which make some more power and a lovely noisel.
Shorter final drive, I’m thinking 69/11 for max acceleration.
LSD which really should go with the FD but makes it twice the price.

The spec for the car so far is Bilstein upside down coil over, fully caged, hyd. handbrake and I have ordered Allan’s negative camber front and rear set up.
The sensible choice would be to buy better tires and then enter more races but I’m really split between the above so all inputs would be appreciated.

just to let you now the types of events it's like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItOB4afzEZA with top speed of aroud 150 km/h

Plated LSD then final drive then bodies. I've just gone to a 4.44 f/d on an almost pug sport spec ratio'd box on my road rally car and the difference is amazing, the cars never off the boil now! It does top out about 95mph now on my 8valve though!

Agree, Plate Diff, Final Drive and bodies lastly as for the 10bhp you get for a fair few € you won;t get as much out of them.
I run a 4.9 in mine but still have a 135 mph top end but that's thanks to 9000rpm on tap

9k! I'm looking at the thick end of 6.5 on my sewing machine! Razz shorter f/d and ratios has transformed the car though
