Having issues with my passenger electric windows , I think it might be the door to body loom . What the best way to go about repairing this , I made matters a lot worst last time i messed with one on my ph1 . Any help appreciated ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

just pull as much of the loom out as you can and solder it up, trying your best not to put the solder all near each other if possible so it's thinner overall rather than thick in one placefailing that it's a new / used loom. never really had a problem repairing the loom myself ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

They often break there, you can try and work out if its that buy holding the button down on the window and moving the loom around as much as possible to see if it will make a contact. As it could be the door loom itself which are very cheap to buy second hand. |

Hmm both the door straps were broken when I got it so I'm thinking its the loom , it doesn't operate from either side when it's playing up could that be the switch , saying that neither speakers working in the front so that probaly confirms the loom . Cheers for the replies ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

You'll need to throw money at the car. Not on parts. Just stand near your car and throw loose change at it, I find this increases performance for a short period of time |
