Hi

Since winter is coming and soon I might be moving for a longer period to Norway I'm looking for a new or a good condition used synchronizer. Thing is that when it's cold and before the gearbox oil heats up I'm having difficulty putting in the second gear. During summer and when the oil is warm there is no problem at all.
Oil is fresh and recomended by Peugeot so it's not it.

Peugeot dealer wants 250euros for the part and that's seriously too much! I belive the part number is 232389

Thx in advance
Greg

Cable no but the clutch is new. It's not it thou. I pretty much checked it all and in my opinion they are the breaking rings (or what ever they're called) in the synchronizer. The ones helping to equal the speed of cogs before they engage. Even when it's cold and I want to go from 1st to 2nd gear peacefully I put just a little preasure on the lever pushing it towards the 2nd gear and wait 2-3 sec and then it goes in quietly and without any trouble.

First of all I gave wrong OE number. The correct part number is 2323E3 for 6-gear transmision.
And secondly a friend of mine got it for me from Peugeot for just 170euros. Not as cheap as I would like it to be but it'll do.
