So, having been lurking for a little while, I'm the new owner of James's (and formerly Jimmy_Boy's) car. I've had a variety of quick pugs previously (205 XS, 309 GTi, 405 Mi-16), but not for a good 7 or 8 years. Since then I've deviated through an MR2 turbo into a couple of Lotuses (Elise S1, M100 Elan) and most recently a z4m roadster. The z4m has been my daily since February, but having done about 10000 miles since then the constant refuelling is getting a bit wearing LOL SWMBO agreed I could get a winter "shed", so I thought I go back to looking at pugs Love. I was a bit worried this was going to end up as a bad case of rose tinted specs, but I've been really impressed so far. Took it over the bridge into Wales this morning for a brief blast.

I'd forgotten what a joy a proper Pug GTI chassis is to drive and what a gem the Mi-16 engine is. The gears are lovely and close together (ratio-wise), slick shift, and the ride is so much more forgiving and comfortable than the Z.

Looking forwards to some more excuses to take it for a drive

First pic is B4246 between Govilon and Blaenavon. Next 2 are on the B4560 just south of Llangynidr. This bit of road has featured quite lot in recent Chris Harris videos. Normally I'd head a bit further into the Brecons, but I was only out for a shortish (120 mile LOL ) blast.

It's a lovely part of the world for a drive

Welcome to the club mate, that first pic is taken ~5 miles from my house and one of many cracking roads around these parts.
