Hi I seem too have steamed up windows on my estate most morning I'm shore it's a sign off a leak inside the car
Found some rusty coloured water stains from under the drivers footwell near the centre console is this the heater matrix

It smells a bit damp though it was a bad rubber

Keep an eye on the coolant level, does it smell inside the car?

When you found the water stains was it actually damp or could it have been from a previous issue that has since been fixed?

Only just noticed the damp area but car is currently getting new head put on soo might have too wait time it's back running and I'll see if I can see the leak

100% heater matrix failure. Yes

Dash out job I'm afraid, probably a good 8 hour job if you coast through it and don't rush.
