Hello guys I recently purchased some subs and amp, the subs are 2x 1400watts and the amp is 1600 watts, just want to know what gauge wire will be best for it it has 3x40 amp fuses on the amp, any help will be great

I assume those figures are peak and not rms. 8awg would work but I would stretch to 4awg |

4 gauge will be fine just make sure you put an inline fuse on the power wire and keep the RCAs away from all the other wires |
