Basically can this be done with the sump removed or is it a gearbox out job if the box has to come out think i will wait till i get a lightened flywheel and do every thing at once |

Thought so what is the seal i have seen mentioned on here that can be replaced with sump off then i have a pretty bad oil leak coming from that area |

You're best to change the crank seals and the 'hockey stick' seals at the same time.You need the box off to change the rear crank seal, you need the sump off to change the end cap hockey stick seals. ![]() If you're planning on a lightened flywheel, I would strongly suggest you wait until then. ![]() ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone ![]() |

Ye been kind of waiting on it going but been fine so far ![]() ![]() Its just the oil leak is starting to p**s me off ![]() |

Standard clutch is all you want, trust me. ![]() As for the seals going, sometimes hockey stick ones go other times it's the main crank seal itself.
