Hi after blowing my engine yesterday and it now has a hole in the block ineed a donor engine to rebuild anyone got one in the north east or a updated engine with steel rods and forged pistons???Marty ________________________________________ 206 Rallycross GTI6 SC SHB 425 BHP clutch eater !!! |

Cant help with the new engine but what sort of power were you running to s**t a rod? Only seen that happen once to a GTI lump and that was because the guy horrendously hydrolocked it a few months before hand then decided to bounce it off the limiter lol. |

Car was on HB supercharger running 3** Bhp but notice on the tarmac section the temp was up to 120 so slowed down to pull in and it went bang ???Checked my GoPro in the car and it still had 50 psi oil pressure so will need to investigate why this has happened... All will be resolved and then it will be a C38 charger with 4** Bhp ________________________________________ 206 Rallycross GTI6 SC SHB 425 BHP clutch eater !!! |
