PHASE 1 PEUGEOT 306 GTI6-COMPLETELY STANDARD-TAX AND TESTED

recently purchased this in august of this year but due to the purchase of a new recovery truck that requires a full respray I have decided to put it on the market. Me being a Peugeot virgin I will describe the car as I see it but if I have put anything wrong in the description i.e colour or originality please feel free to correct me(in the nicest way).

ok here goes:-
phase 1 gti6 on a p plate in diablo red.
it is motd until feb 13th 2014 and taxed until end of jan 2014. I currently use the car at weekends and sometimes at nights for nipping about in. Since buying the car in august of this year I have only done about 500 miles in it and as we speak the mileage is 164.500 ish.

The car is completely standard with no mods on. The stereo is the original clarion cassette player with 6 disc changer in the boot.

original alloys, no after market exhaust all standard.

bad points that will need addressing:-
suspect drive shaft fault-judder/wobble on acceleration but clears at about 70 mph.
wheels could do with a repaint as paint flaking off.
passenger side window regulator u/s.
air con not working.
pixel distortation on stereo and a bit on clock/time display.
slight wear on drivers seat to the alcantara trim(not a lot)
needs batterys for key fobs for central locking-I just use the key.

The condition of the car is very good indeed bar a couple of minor laquer peel areas( very minor) and the odd tiny dint.
I have noticed a bit of play in the drivers door hinge and when the door is shut the gap is slightly wider to the wing( again only minor).

I think its had 4 or 5 owners and is currently in my trade name as I didn't ant to put another owner on the log book as my plan is/was to sit on the vehicle for a few years as I think there isn't many standard phase 1s still knocking about.

Theres stacks of receipts with the car and a good stamped service book. There is also a receipt for water pump and timing belt kit replacement in jan or feb 2010 at I think was 108,000 miles.

I purchased the car off a guy I knew who was a middleaged guy that commuted to Nottingham(from preston lancs) in it and sold it to me because he needed a diesel.

On the 2nd set of keys there is a gti 6 keyring that iam led to believe came with the car from new.

A cracking motor in its original condition that could do with going to someone who can keep hold of it for a few years so it can be one of the few phase 1s left on the road.

Any questions please feel free to ask and I will answer to the best of my knowledge, as like I said im a Peugeot virgin never mind a gti6 virgin!

About £400 I reckon TBF mate. Its well over due a belt change and with all the other faults sounds more like a breaker than a project to me.

Unfortunately with 165k on it and the list of faults, the cost of getting back up to a decent standard would far outweigh its value Sad
