The Sigma GTI-6

So I bought this on 10th July, after much searching I found this on gumtree with only 69,000 had 2 owners. Went to see the old man who owned it had stacks of paper work had a new head rebuild back in 2003 he had driven it only 30,000 miles in 12 years but the cambelt hadnt been changed since it snapped so the 3 hour journey home i was very careful so as I got back had the belt tensioner and water pump changed straight away.

This is when i got to the girlfriends sat with my d-turbo (which sadly had to be sold after owning for 4 years)

Then i got on with changing the oil filter spark plugs and sorting out the annoying things like the washer motor and getting the fuel sender working

After a good after noon with the wax polish and clay bar this was the result

So had a strong smell of petrol when i parked up the other day opened the bonnet and the pipe that goes into the fuel rail had started to split removed the jubilees and was faced with this

Im not sure if the pipe is green as standard anyway I changed it for some fuel pipe I had laying round.

I then made my own engine chock out of a 3mm thick shelf bracket that seems to be doing the job. Haven't got any pictures of that yet.

So the plan now is to carry on enjoying the car need to change the wishbones as the are knocking around and the tracking needs doing.
