Bias Valve
Internally routed steel lines front & rear

Interior:

Electric windows
No rear wiper

Shell:
Sump guard (included, not fitted)
Tank guard
Rear shock absorber heavy-duty guards
Front arch liner guards, heavy duty
Foam packer around tank and in places to prevent ingress of dirt / gravel

Condition:
Overall functioning and driving well.
Body is scruffy, but rot free, does have some dents and scratches – As per a competitively used car.
Above the windscreen needs some attention as it is bubbling up.
Underside of vehicle could do with wax-oiling / sealing

The engine is a tapper, apparantly this is normal for a GTI-6 engine that has had a head and valve seat skim. Pulls strongly and does not smoke / use fluids

Can be slightly slow on cranking but always starts
Slightly vibration above 80mph due to one buckled wheel – Vehicle tracks straight

Seats, belts and fire extinguisher are no longer in date

The car handles extremely well and the shell is incredibly stiff.

The car has an MSA logbook and has been used competitively for many years. Scrutineer stickers all through the interior.

Car is regrettably for sale as I no longer have the facilities to maintain it or store it.

The car is not insured or taxed currently.

No time wasters or test pilots please, serious enquiries only.

£2500ono
Part exchange
No thanks

A tapper is normal?

Everyone, dont worry, Your valve falling off and mashing your piston faces to pieces is standard procedure

To think we've been worrying all this time, Turns out peugeot factored people being an epic fail at changing timing belts into the design

Please, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

I preceded the statement with the word apparently.

I'm trying to give a genuine impression of the vehicles condition.

Sorry i was merely pointing out that its not really the case, Anyone purchasing this car should consider sorting that asap.

However,
Given the spec i would say the price is fair

You'll need to throw money at the car. Not on parts. Just stand near your car and throw loose change at it, I find this increases performance for a short period of time
