So been on the site a while now and so thought if start up a project thread this is not going to be nothing extra ordinary but still like to show my progress any how

So bought it in January this yeah after selling my clio sport, was in good condition few little dints but any the less I was pleased with my purchase here's a couple of picks

Didn't really do anything to her over the winter period just concentrated on keeping her on the road in the bad conditions!

So when the weather got better I thought I'd give the cyclones a new lick of paint

Decided to go for a grey colour but this will be changes soon!
Don't think they look to bad for a rattle can job in the end

Then it was time for a service and it was well due looking at the colour of the oil and took my a while to get the filter of to!

After the service it was runing like a dream again so thought I'd spend some money and treat her to a new exaust system as I thought it was blowing a bit so along came the magnex system

And a KnN filter

Then one Saturday day was driving along the main high street in diss full of traffic and heard this massive bang and this almighty roar and turns out my cat had snapped lol which was ear bleeding loud! So the. Came the decat but no pics of this

Then I done nothing for a few months but mot is coming up so it was time to get it to carls and see what it needed it needed a new ball joint which he done and new rear brakes which I done myself

So there will be a few more updates gradually but this is what it looks like at present time

Then I'll have the rear beam bearings done and lowered at the same time

Well it's in the hands of insurers for minis behalf I'm not claiming for mine so this means will get on with putting bumper back in place and putting a new light in and get it through mot and then I can get on with getting things painted Smile

Thought if update this even tho not much has progresed due to the misses loosing her job so money has been really tight! So I havnt had any of the damaged properly repaired but made it as good as I could have for time being, sailed through mot which was a massive relief!
Anyway here's a few pics of how the car is looking

I also bought these of sam and gave them a rub down and re laquer but I'm going to do one again as not happy with it

And I got these at a bargain price of £0.00!

Iv started to polish the lip to make them nice and shiny excuse picture but I only spend around 30 mins on them so far!

And that's about it so far

Well managed to get around to repairing the damaged stuff in the last few weeks! So after removing the front bumper and crumpled wing it looked a bit bear!

So after a few days I got a good straight wing of Carl so then fitted it and looked a lot better with a straight wing!

So it was then booked into the spray shop for the bumper to be done! And rear quater as it had a scrap and dent there ever since I bought it! I also got a new foglight and done some spraying of my own, sprayed the bottom grill in the bumper a dark grey and picked myself up a luguna splitter so decided to spray that the same time!

So then here's the finished photos from back from the spray shop and it looks the best it ever has

So next is lowering! Don't no weather to go for coilovers or just springs as iv already got b4 shocks
