That's a resonator box, it is said to give the engine slightly more torque.I would leave it in place personally and welcome to the club... ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Some say that they notice a better difference from removal, some say it's worse and some say they can't tell the difference. It's up to how you feel with it removed. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

It's main job is too quieten the induction noise, deffo get more induction sound with it removed No difference in torque I could feel, and no loss of overall torque on a rolling road power run ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

Mines removed. Makes no noticeable difference in any shape or form. Ah, my bad, I was on about the resonator on the airbox.________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |
