I have this genuine Bosch item, I bought it from mattgti6phase2 about 6 months ago for use on my 6 when my lambda gave up the ghost. Sadly Marilyn is no more and so its no use to me....

Matt had it on his phase 2 for iirc around 1000 miles before taking it off so its more or less as new.
He had issues with his loom and so bought another lambda thinking this one was duff, however it was the car's loom that had damaged wiring.

I had a used exhaust fitted to my 6 about 2 months ago and tried to have this lambda fitted also. Guy at the garage said it was wrong fitment?! But he couldn't get a duff lambda out of the used cat I bought so im not sure if he said that because he couldn't physically get it to fit....

Anyway heres the part on Amazon, and hers a photo - maybe someone else can confirm it fits?!
I should do, it fit Matts phase 2.....

Just want my money back £40 delivered if you want it

If that's the correct Bosch box for the lambda then it's wrong.

The part number should end 3717 not 3716. Wink

Anyone know what that sensor I have is then and how matt fitted it to his phase 2 but apparently isn't for my phase 3? Do they use different lambdas? Sorry for straying off topic!

That sensor doesnt look like the right one. Looks like the TU engine ones which have a different range of readings.

Lambda looks like NTK not bosch, bosh tends to have much fatter body.

see image from Bosch for that part number -

Bosch ecat says;

Lambda control sensor (LSH-6W) 0 258 003 717

For the RFS engine, servicebox says same used on TU engines in a 306.

716 has a 410mm lead, so wont reach nicely, proper one is 555mm.

716 is used for TU engine in a 106, it is the same 12w sensor, but may not reach properly due to a lead 5 inches shorter.
