there is a blank fitting on the rear of the block-right next to flywheel, can this be used as an oil drain? or would i be better welding a fitting onto the sump? |

Yeah that should be fine. It drops straight down into the sump.________________________________________ Rich |

i know it travels direct to sump, my only worry is that the hole might not be big enough |

If its in the top of the sump it will be above the oil line.________________________________________ |

I'm not 100% sure, but it's probably M16 x 1.5, same as the various blanking plugs throughout the block.________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone ![]() |

That rings a bell. Basically i took it out and welded 3" of rod to it then put a 12mm drill through it. Then basically barbed it so the rubber hose wont leak________________________________________ |

there is a blank round surface a little lower down the rear of the block which is drilled on the turbo blocks, the 16mm plug is for oil level senders when fitted to the rear of the block, though most are fitted to the front.________________________________________ 205 GTIXsara HDI |
