Is there any hydraulic gearboxs that will fit an XU engine? Cant seem to find anything anywhere. Only the EW gearboxs are coming up when I try searching for a hydraulic box but am sure the EW box isnt compatible with the XU block?

mod the standard box for a concentric bearing or use a BE4 casing from a DW engine which has a clutch arm poking out the front, there are hydraulic variants of this type.

Oh LOL not some hydrostatic 'pope mobile' conversion then!Razz

I would imagine the simplest solution would be an aftermarket hydraulic release bearing from AP or similar.

I have read into it a little and found the BE3 box is easy to convert to hydraulic. I dont want to run a 6 speed box either

yep, off the shelf Concentric bearing from the lines of AP probably do the trick and a few holes drilled in the casing for the hydraulic lines is all that's required.

that wont be much help as the part of the casing you need is specific to the EW engine, and will not fit the XU.
