As said above, that's not brake fade. Fade is poor braking as a result of high brake temperatures, usually caused by repeated hard braking in a short space of time.________________________________________ 1999 Astor Grey GTi-6 OEM+ |

That's very lucky you didn't bin it. With brake fade it shouldn't be complete lack of braking, just reduced, sometimes severely. Here's an example that I experienced: My view; @ 10:42 http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=DAnKk0BDLKA#t=635 The rather concerned skoda drivers view; @ 11:10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbylBudT1y4&feature=player_detailpage&list=PLEEED3CDBAEFAF329#t=670 It was so poor in fact, I found engine braking to be more effective, as you may hear ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |
