Hi all,

After replacing the ICV with a genuine Magneti one from ECP my idle issues are still present (very occasional stalling, revs bounce up and down slightly). Tomorrow if the weather is dry i'm going to check for air leaks but also want to check that the supply voltage to the ICV is what it should be. My theory is that if it lower than it should be the valve will be slow to react?

I'm guessing you need to test one of the pins vs earth but which one? There's no mention of it in the sensor testing FAQ. Can I just try them all? Complete electrics noob so no idea if this could potentially short something so wanted to check first.

There are four pins for two solenoids, pins 1 and 4 & pins 2 and 3.

Also try disconnecting the power steering sensor. Blue plug on the HP pipe at the front of the engine

That will give you indication of the health of the component but not the voltage being supplied to it though just so you know.
