Anyone who has or had a 205 gti, got the metal pipe that goes on the thermostat housing, that the top radiator hose goes onto please? Its instead of the standard gti6 one that uses the join with funky metal spring clip.Let me know. Cheers. |

Oh cool.So that ebay one, the radiator hose outlet off that would be the compatible part to put onto mine? Excuse the ignorance, im not a 205 buff, and have no knowledge of the compatibility of the 205 parts. Im assuming that is a gti part, either 1.9 or 1.6, being the same part..? |

Yes 1.6 or 1.9 use the same one, its the one with the pipe outlet attached to the thermo with like half moon shape will fit straight on mate. People use the same one on 6 engines when doing a conversion. Its the part bolted on at the bottom right hand corner of the picture. Thermo is just upside down or wrong way round is all ________________________________________ Pug fee`ver,Pick a Bogey, buy a Pug. Black 306 GTI 6 Standard, was 60k mileage, bargain!! Some if not all of the plastic outlets put the pipe at a different angle to the metal outlet so be careful what you're buying. The metal one is NFP from peugeot, if you try farmer over on drivers he can do a worldwide dealer search for you for a new one. I take it you're using a Bbm thermostat housing adaptor? ________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |

Yes Geoff. Thats the bit. Basically just that bit to bolt on to the bbm adapter so I can run a normal silicone top hose, rather than the gti6 spring clip fitted one.have you been hoarding again?! Haha |
