Is it possible to change the speed sensor to give a more accurate Speedo reading ?

I have a V6 engine and box going into a 306 this weekend and (mainly) because of the difference in wheel and tyre sizes, the reading will be miles out.
I calculate that a real world 85mph will show 95mph on the Speedo !

Thanks in advance.

This is something I fancied doing on mine as 140+ was coming up at just under 130 on GPS.

I did find a thread on 205drivers and they were on about swapping part 2 of that diagram for one off another car to get it a lot closer. It's worth having a look on that forum as there's a few v6'd 205's.
