i was just reading through the posts in a recent thread in the wanted section, i noticed someone suggesting using an XUD block bored out to 86mm. I'm very interested in this for my winter build, do the XU/XUD oil and water ways really line up? and other than different dipstick locations, will the gti6 engine mount bracket bolt straight on? and does anyone know if there is a hole for the 16v tensioner? |

not offhand, unlikely to need any alterations, but a custom bracket is likely, not hard though, as there are bolt holes there for the Diesel pump.can't find any front pics but this one was sitting on full custom mounts anyway as its sitting bolt upright relocated in a 205, with a dry sump, and an alternator on the back. ![]() ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
