Am breaking my xsara this friday night/saturday and wondering what is worth saving.

On the 'keep list' is:
Engine and gearbox
Steering rack
Rear beam
Alloys
Cat as it is genuine

Are things like shocks and springs worth keeping as seem to remember reading somewhere (but can't seem to find now!) That they give a slightly lower ride height/upgrade?!

Are the front and rear calipers the same size/setup as on the gti6/Rallye?

Driveshafts worth keeping etc etc?!

Cheers

shafts worth keeping to sell on, but they are a little shorter than pas 306's.

exhaust and cat depends if its p1 or 2, only p1 is compatible with a 306, if its a decent system I might have the silencers off you for my zx.

p1 and early p2 brakes are the same, later ones had different front calipers.

P1 springs are firmer and shorter, I think P2 was softer and closer to the 306.

Thanks for the reply mate. Its a phase 1 on a W plate.

Exhaust has had it im afraid, well the backbox is certainly knackered haven't really paid much attention to the centre section but it's certainly only standard items.
