Hi :-( unfortunately I have another problem now
I got in the car today and the drivers footwell is wet and tasted very nasty so
im assuming its coolant.. but no where seems to be wet just in the middle of the padding under the peddles.. have no problems with temperatures when driving but my rad does seem to always be pressurised its a nissens rad but the seal on the cap is split quite bad would this cause the pressure build up...
Also what is the pin located on the picture with the white end on that goes into a hole as this was a little bit wet and very hot :-(

definitely heater matrix, that's the temperature probe for the AC system.

probably been on its way for a very long time and the HG needs doing as well.

I do seem to be puttin a bit of water in it only a little but I can see the level keeps dropping but only very slowly.
Oh yeah and most mornings when I start the car I can hear water whooshing from say behind the speedo only for
a couple of seconds if I rev it speeds up but then I dont hear it again . I know it jad a new matrix in 2009 would it go so soon

Yes, if your head gasket is on its way out and the system was over preasurised

Another vote for HG breaking down, causing the matrix to go. Sad

I assume the whooshing water is because air has replaced any coolant that's leaked out. When it starts filling back up you can hear it sloshing about.

Horrible HORRIBLE JOB! Dry
