Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa it must be that the car is French...

Windows went down perfectly, now i want them up and nothing happens on both sides, only a little click sound inside the door...

Im getting fed up with these little s**t error/faults

Is there a way to "reset" the windows or something? or does anyone have an idea

Its with both windows...

thankyou

If you hear a click inside the door, at least it proves the signal is getting from the switch to the motor mechanism, which is probably knackered. Time to pull the door apart and have a look. Yes

Doh

I didn't read it was BOTH sides...sounds like a door loom problem then on the driver's side. Yes

Yep broken wire on the drivers door loom. Get someone to hold the switches up then wiggle the loom wires. If it starts to go, have fun repairing wires Big grin

Yeah, you can either repair the wires or buy a replacement door loom although I believe they are quite pricey. Yes

£80 but at least then you know it's done and won't break again. It's also a revised design I believe.

Sounds like the loom, especially if both have died at the same time. Easy job anyway.

Uhmm

Maybe im being stupid, but then on the passengersside when i would use the buttons it should work right? cause also on the passengersside the button does nothing.

When on the driversside, where also the passengersside button is, they also both dont respond anymore, where the driversside use to "click" inside the door, it also has stopped doing that.

Getting tired of these weird electrical problems and then i havent even driven the damn pos yet :S

I would say drivers side switch or drivers side loom broken.

IIRC, if you disconnect the drivers switch, the passenger side switch will not operate off it's own buttons.
That's how my Phase 1 window switches work anyway Smile

If you find a broken wire (very common) then add in another 5cm or it will only go and snap again.

This. Yes

The driver's side is the "master" and if that's not working, the passenger side (being slave) doesn't get any power. Smile

Isn't it great to get inside the car after it has stood all day in the sun to find you cant even open the damn window?
Need to do mine too... if you go to your pug dealer let me know the price, maybe they are cheper in NL than in LUX or you can get a discount for buying 2 Razz

Edit Your's a ph1 right? In that case its a different connector if IRC?

i saw this thread before mine went and now ive fixed it i thought id see if you have a similar problem. i thought fuse and loom and relay etc etc....

tried the same as you fuse relay. then i checked the loom, google search a picture of a (306 broken door loom) the wire should be pretty visable with a break in it. just slide the corrrigated rubber up to expose the wires to check your own.

i didnt find one in mine. then i saw the pins in the plug were corroded, a few mins of fiddly labour with a little bit of emery paper and it was fixed.

if you cant see a break in a wire try cleaning your pins before replacing the loom

hope this helps
