Hey guys

im not one for always posting on forums, but ive just bought my first ever peugeot much to own suprise as im very much a ford man.

My mate has banged on bout gti6's for ages and hes finally persuaded me to get one.

Im out working at the minute so im just posting to see what brake setup people use for 15" wheels, I want to stick with the 15s to keep cost of tyres down.

would the gti6 calipers with some 1155 or ds3000 pads n solid discs work well?

Also coming from the ford scene I dont know any decent cheap places to buy parts from?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

cars will be used only on track

Cheers

I'm running 1155 for road and track use. Its not the stopping power of a modern day car, but its decent enough, and resist fade well with decent fluid

Depends if the car weighs the standard amount and the type of wheel + tyre you will consider using.

I run DS2500 with ATE superblue in my track car, but its pretty stripped. Use the standard heavy cyclones on R888s in the warm, therefore don't need to brake too hard or for too long. They lasted well at Castle Combe last week in the warm weather. Standard discs.

Some wheels don't have much cooling - the C5 alloys I use as wets aren't so good for this, but weigh half as much as a cyclone.

I was thinking about using the standard cyclones for a bit, but would want to change to TD 1.2's using either AO48's or r888's

I would like to upgrade to a 4 pot kit after I've got some more seat time and more money, so I think a decent disc, pad and fluid setup for now should be sufficient enough
