I changed one on my own the other day just put a towel on the boot lip so that you can rest it whilst doing the first bit. take you about half hour if you have a decent buzz gun!

How do you remove the rubber gromets to take of the existing one?
JUst pull?

I assume that theres a connector underneath to disconnect?
I also assume its better to remove from the boot end rather than the shell?

You need to remove/loosen rear right hand side trim, 3 connectors hidden behind it. Pull rubber out then feed the connectors through one by one, this is a faf and small fingers/patience helps. You'll need to sort the wiper pipe out too which feeds in under the roof lining iirc there is a connector that joins into the boot.

Question,
New boot has no wiper arm on it.
It has the nut attached with a broken bit of plastic, JUst to check, it is a normal lefty lossy righty tighty nut right?

Did u just unplug the wiring from central locking n wiper motor etc then when old boot was off the wiring came out then u fed it back through, or is there a plug link inside the roof lining area like the water pipe?

I was just going to re connect the wiring from the new boot, bascially juts what thug said.

Anyways, As it turns out i prepped the whole car, removed all the connections and fed them all out and finally was ready to un bolt the old one, Then when i let the new "pretty much mint" boot down on the ground, It had three dings in the bottom of the panel, A chip in the edge and two slight creases along the top edge.So basically not wirth doing.
To say i am miffed is an understandment, When i looked at the packaging i realised it wasnt missing the wiper arm at all rather it was led in the bottom of the box snapped.

Wasted about 2 hours then..
