The cup that they go into in slightly distorted, and as I have roller bearing wishbones, I can't really tighten them up to the recommended torque rating of one white elbow.
Any suggestions? New subframe time? I'm thinking I might go this route

These bad boys keep undoing themselves slightly, and I keep needing to get back under there and nip them back up. The cup that they go into in slightly distorted, and as I have roller bearing wishbones, I can't really tighten them up to the recommended torque rating of one white elbow. Any suggestions? New subframe time? I'm thinking I might go this route |

As above Can't see what difference a new subframe will make Get new bolts and the square nut that is sat in subframe, and if you want peace of mind put some thread lock on them ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

Well I have a 2ft bar and they have previously been done up so tight that it has distorted the cup that the wishbone sits in, to the extent that I couldn't get the washers in for the solid mountsThink new bolts and thread lock is what's needed. |
