Good morning all, i bought this 306 from BCA Auctions back in January of this year as i needed a good economical runaround as I was inbetween cars. The 306 is a 3dr in black and being the DTurbo model has all the GTi skirts/bumpers also a set of lovely Cyclone alloys which despite the mileage are in very good condition. Overall the car is tidy, there are scratches and dull areas of paintwork but no damage at all, and if your handy with a DA i am sure the paintwork could be coaxed back into life.

When i purchased it there was no service history at all so i had a full service done (receipted) and whilst this was being done one of the front lower arms needed doing so that was replaced also, from memory that bill was about £200. It was also down on power and i found it had a faulty MAF sensor so replaced this and it leapt into life, this cost around £70. The interior was really dirty when i bought it and the drivers seat bolster had burst open with foam etc. hanging out. As a result i set about stripping out all the seats and trim, hoovering, cleaning plastic trim with G101 and then sourcing an identical good condition interior which was installed so the drivers seat now looks cracking.

There are still some odds and ends that you could tidy and/or replace if you felt compelled to but it does what it says on the tin, fill it up drive 600 miles and then do the same again.

Its an ideal commuter car and is comfortable and quiet, it has a Pioneer cd player with iPod lead, i also replaced the foam steering wheel with a leather one from a GTi as the foam was coming off and it looked really untidy, electric windows, electric mirrors.

The turbo is quite noisy so may need looking at in the future but having said that it still drives well and doesn't smoke, with the exception of the odd bit of black derv smoke!

It owes me in excess of £800 but it has been replaced already and is taking up room so looking to move it on fairly quickly hence the price.

I am based in Weston Super Mare which is junction 21 off of the M5.

Pictures to follow shortly.
