Anyway 500 miles later today under normal driving doing 70-80 on the motorway and the pipes popped off again, we thought the ignition wiring behind the steering cowling was on fire at first .
It's showing no signs of head gasket failure but we've not really taken any notice of the pressure in the coolant system.
Has anybody else experienced this?
Just wondering if the plastic on the matrix isn't formed properly and the clip needs to slot in further, but I can't pull it out without pressing the clip in at all, should we be pressure testing the cylinders now to make sure it's got the right compression on all 4?
