Ive had the same too with my old 6. Cracked the front bumper and pushed the slam pannel into the washer fluid bottle which push the inner arch back and it rubbed against the tyre. Absolute c***s!!!jsoulman wrote: Unlucky, its happened to me a few times, plus a massive key scratch. And now I act like a c**t, so when bad s**t happens to me I'm like 'fair play, I deserved that' and its easy to deal with. didn't get a chance to chase him as I was parking up ready to exchange details, but I did go straight to the police with his reg number and his description.________________________________________ '90 1.6 205 GTi, '98 306 GTi-6 |

Thing is there is so little damage, even if he admitted it was his fault and his insurance paid out, I would still loose out, your insurance policy will still rise if you are in an accident that isn't your fault.________________________________________ '90 1.6 205 GTi, '98 306 GTi-6 |

Wrong. It used to but providing the repair costs are coming from their insurer and of course, its not your fault, they are no longer allowed to increase your premium. |

Fack sake Wayne, that's utter gash. Least it wasn't worse. Would keep an eye out for the guy and chin him for the repairs. Are you gonna get the deeper scratches sprayed, or use an aggressive polish / pad to reduce the visibility of the damage? ________________________________________ '98 Nile Blue 306 GTi 6 |

just a little update,...she's all fixed up again! £370 lighter but a job well done! did the wole side of the car sorted the front wing sanded back the door where some of the paint had started to react with the filler used when removing the bump strips poped out a dent in the rear quarter where someone hit it and scraped it attempting to reverse and turn out of a parking space and i will be taking up 2 parking spaces from now on! and parking miles away from anyone else! ________________________________________ Proud Member of the ASTOR Owners Club |
