I have a problem with my fuel gauge when I get down to about 1/4 tank, it becomes erratic, sometimes dropping below the red with the light on and staying there.I thought there must be a dead sector in the sender so I replaced the pump/sender from another car, problem remained! I then swapped the instrument cluster with another, still no joy, any ideas? ________________________________________ '90 1.6 205 GTi, '98 306 GTi-6 |

possibly a dodgy wire causing reistance issues,ie a corroded wire will increase the ohms hence your erratic readings. |
