whilst they are not sided, you can fit them 180 degrees round the 'wrong' way (since they have 4 holes in the top mounts) and there by removing the Castor angle (which I think they did for certain models). The little lump on the centre part of the mount needs to face the front of the car. |

The metal pin on the mounts prevents you fitting it the wrong way round as there isn't a hole for it if you try to fit them the wrong way. There are two versions of the mount; one for cars with power steering, and one for cars without. ________________________________________ Rich |

I'm pretty sure the lump goes at the rear??? The holes for them in my strut brace are at the back not the front.... I'm gonna have to call bulls**t on that one rich I think, just checked pics on 3 different 306's I've had over the years and all of them are pas models and all have the pin on the top of the mount towards the rear of the car not the front. Also strut brace does not allow them to fit with pins at the front. ![]() ![]() ![]() ________________________________________ Black power baby! Also just did a google search for 306 omp upper strut brace and they are all same as mine. I win ![]() Anyway as stated they are not sided the only thing on front strut units that are handed is the shock absorbers as he bracket for the arb drop links are sided on them. They both point to the rear of the car iirc. To be fair I'm glad I checked as my car still under steers to easy for my liking so was wondering I I had them the wrong way. Am after a set of adjustable top mounts to put a degree or 2 of camber on them. ________________________________________ Black power baby! I think you have the lumps and the pins confused. You were talking about the lumps earlier, and now about the pins. The pins always stay at the rear, yes. The lumps are at the rear on the non-PAS mounts and on the front on the PAS mounts. My first post stated clearly that the pins stay at the rear, as there isn't a hole for them if you try to fit them the other way. ________________________________________ Rich |

By lump I thought you meant the pin ![]() As stated and as my pics show rubber lump on centre of mount goes towards front, locatin pins at the rear. ![]() ________________________________________ Black power baby!
