Due to me running the wider track on the Dimma can I get away with using the vts ram apposed to the 6 one that restricts the amount of travel to avoid hitting the box?

maybe.the gearbox is 55mm longer than 5 speed unit, however I'm unsure how far away from 5 speed box the tyre is, I do know that the narrower 205 (same rack and hubs) will rub the end of the box with a 195 tyre as standard ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I guess I will have to wait and see just hoping I can use a phase 2 rack and pipe work with out swapping the ram or anything else over. |

I would hazzard a guess that it would be fine, not hard to make up a lock stop.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

To be honest I haven't even had a look at a rack yet so wouldn't know what to do to limit the travel, could it be as simple as applying a clamp around the ram piston? Or would it have to be a mechanical stop welded to the subframe to stop the ram extending to its fullest range? |

I changed my ram for a std one (no second hand ones about and it was leaking everywhere) and even with new tyres on it only just rubbed the edge of the box so I would guess you'd be fine with wider track as the pivot point is further out unless you have monster truck tyres on |

Is the s16 rack the same amount of turn from lock to lock as the vts rack? |
