Having issues with the mapped ecu that I have to go with the cams I've just fitted.

Basically the ecu worked fine in the original car.
When I first got it I popped the ecu into my daily to test it, I unlocked the ecu by removing the plug with the ignition on, the car ran fine, just wouldn't start again after being left as the imobaliser would have locked it back up again.

I've now fitted the ecu along with the correct texon box and using the correct fob the car now won't start.
The remote locking is working fine still. I've checked the original car over for any signs that the imobaliser has been bypassed but can't find anything. (Checked the ecu plug and the main wiring harness for any cut wires, no missing or cut pins in the ecu either)

Im guessing that the ecu has locked and isn't pairing properly with the texon box therefore it won't unlock again?
Unless there is anything glaringly obvious that I might have missed?

Is the any way of testing the ecu is still ok before I get rich to unlock it permantly?

When you turn the ignition off after trying to start it does the dash LED start flashing straight away, or is there a delay?

The flashing means it's immobilised, and when you turn the ignition off there is a grace period before the immobiliser re-engages, and if the immobiliser was never released then the grace period obviously doesn't apply.

Cool, don't remove the key when you test. Moving the chip out of range of the receiver re-engages the immobiliser regardless of the grace period.

It doesn't flash at all with the mapped ecu and texon. But does with the original.

Yep. Both ph3 cars.

The original ecu isn't engaging the imobaliser now, been here 5 mins and the lights not coming on, although it was earlier.
