hey guys, I've had my clutch changed but unfortunately now it looks like the bushes have gone
there's a horrible squeeky grinding noise coming from the fork arm, I've took the cable off and moved the arm myself and the noise is still there,and there slight play in the arm.
I've just rang Peugeot up and theve ordered me what they said I need and it was 20pound and he said fork arm bearings.
is this correct guys because I've read on here they only cost peanuts
also does the gearbox definitly need removing to do the bushes? cheers :-)

I should of done these while my clutch was getting done but they looked in good condition "apparently" so my garage never bothered. now it's all gota come apart again to do these, bad times :-( I might even need new cable again too

Another thing it could be is the release bearing not running smoothly on the shaft, if you look at rikkys pic above where the release bearing sits this needs cleaning up with emery cloth or replacing if badly wornThumbs up

check the thread above, there's more numbers there. looking at ServiceBox there's a revised design too and a protector for the top of the arm

217521 = £2.71
217520 = £2.02

£3.94 plus vat - £4.73

is he including the top arm too or maybe the pin or.... ?

check what number he is quoting you on and report back.. if they're genuinely ripping you off that's shameful

Profit margin running low lol.

Prices can go up due to manu costs etc but that amount is far too much for what they are.
