Morning All,

I need a bit of help...

I've sold my old OMP Corsica rep wheel and will be putting the standard wheel back on.

Now I want to put the airbag system back in as well as the indicator self-cancelling...

I've put the airbag contactor ring back in but can't seem to get the indicator sitting correctly; can anyone send me photos of how the indicator cancelling tab sits in relation to the airbag ring?

Thanks in advance Smile

Ed

if you look at the slip ring (airbag ring), it's got 2 arrows on it and a little gear which will rotate until the 2 arrows point together. this is when they are in sync so to speak, and refitting should leave the tab pointing to about 10-o-clock (i think!) - it was slightly off-central (horizontally) from memory

Aah, so I checked and it rotates 6 turns, so I rotated it 3 turns and tried to fit. I'll check it in a bit Smile

Any chance you have a photo?

Cheers

no, no chance! LOL to be honest, once you see the little gear and the 2 arrows it'll make sense. you just keep rotating it till they meet up, then fit it back into the column

haha! Fair enough, it is a bit of an ask. I'll have a play with it on my lunchbreak and see if I can get anywhere with it!

Cheers Smile
