Chaps
I have a new beam built by 'mechanic repairs' bought from Ash. It has a hybrid arb and solid mounts already. In time I intend to add 21mm torsion bars and some decent shocks. The front will have roller bearings throughout and coilovers in the long run.
Is this all futile if I run standard 15" cyclones with 50 profile tyres ?
Will this relatively stiff set up be ruined by not having low profiles or will the higher profile 50's help by giving me some warning when about to break free ?
Thanks in advance

Will tend to help on break, tyres tends to be cheaper and very easy to come by.
Cyclones are bloody heavy, you'd be better off finding some 7" wide 15s that weigh half as much (CXRs, C5s, TD1.2s etc etc). These also tend to have better caliper clearance (not the C5 though).

50 profile is fine as it gives you the greatest choice. I'm sticking to them for now on my car - its plenty grippy enough on R888s or PE2s
