I was registered on here a few years back when I bought a blaze 6, being only 18 at the time insurance etc was too much and lost my job so downgraded.
Had a 106 quiksilver after that in which i put a cammed Citroen C2 VTS engine in and turned it into a fairly good little track ready car. Anyway saw a '6 on eBay, fell in love with it so bought it.
It had 75k miles on it at the time and only 1 previous owner as it was an ex-demo car so had been well cared for, no rust, bodywork in good nick etc so parted with £1600 and she was mine.
In October we had some bad floods and I totally forgot the poor positioning of the air filter, needless to say she sucked in a load of water and bent a con rod, head gasket also went so sourced a 2nd hand block and rebuilt it with all new genuine parts and now it's all good.
Thanks if you read this far, sorry for the life story lol

Yep very frustrating, it ran for a week with a bent and bowed con rod though ad as it was at such a bent angle it started chewing through the cylinder wall hah oh well you live and learn.
Im trying to get some pics of her up but im literaly about to go crazy with this computer it is running windows 95 i swear!!!
I tried on my iPad but filesize was to large, basically imagine a clean, standard black GTi-6.....thats what my car looks like.
Also I recently got the GoPro Hero 3 with the suction mounting Smile need some sunny weather now to try it out, I was considering Pugfest this year, is it worth the trip from anyones past experience?

I should count myself lucky as over 6 months is was still running after id gotten all the water out etc ! Pugfest is worth it believe me, ive been over 5 times and really enjoy the atmosphere plus the hill runs are fun and you end up buying more than the 1 or 2 you said you would

Give Photobucket a go and just copie across the EMI tag, job done

No only had a blaze previous to the black 6 I have now. Couldn't afford to keep the blaze so did a straight swap for a 106 Quiksilver, all good now though I'm back to 306 ownership Smile
