hi all....how would i go about testing the coil packs to see if they are faulty.....i may have an issue with one of mine, but its an intermitten thing....i have 8 spare, but not sure if any are also faulty....just want to check to make sure any are good...cheers boys and girls...Thumbs up

Check the resistance across the terminals would be a good start.

Is it a misfire issue or something else?

a bit of holding back as i low revs pulling away...normally in 2nd and 3rd gear....still goner get a new lambda like you said, but i may as well try 4 other coil packs as i have 8 sitting about doing nothing...

Coil packs *usually* break down at higher rpm, not always but usually. Yes

What sort of rpm would you say they break down? The reason i ask is I till got this hesitation fault on idle (but it goes after couple of seconds or if I just touch the throttle), but sometime it hesitation round 2rpm .could this be a coil breaking down?

More than likely the lambda. Yes

Could still be lambda, parts can fail at any time. Especially cheaper pattern parts.

As Jim says, testing it first will be the best option. Yes

If you do need a new one then yes, Bosch is recommended as these are OEM fit. Smile

ordered my lambda from sc's....£65 all in and its a bosch one.....happy days
