Hi I'm looking to get the parts for my engine rebuild. Here's what I need, let me know if you wanna sell yours.

New crank, I've been advised to get 1 from a 1.9td
Oversize pistons
4-2-1 exhaust manifold
Camshafts

Let me know what you've got

You will be needing custom pistons with that crank.

Oversize refers to the diameter, the crank you are looking to get has a different stroke to standard meaning the pistons you buy will need the wrist pin to be in a different place compared to standard. If you don't know this stuff you really shouldn't be considering building an engine.

Gotta start somewhere mate, I've been a mechanic for over 20 years but have had little experience with engine building, as I'm sure your aware its all about getting figures etc.. and I'm sure theres enough knowledge on this forum for me to be able to do it.
