Also I notice they come with fixings that go through the rad, are these any good or how do people normally mount them as going to do away with fan cowling as hoping to lower radiator as well

Been looking at fitting a single slim line fan but should I be getting a push or pull type fan? Also I notice they come with fixings that go through the rad, are these any good or how do people normally mount them as going to do away with fan cowling as hoping to lower radiator as well |

'Pull' fans behind the radiator are supposedly the better option from what I read. Give the radiator more exposure to the air when driving, so in all likelihood, its not going to need the fan to come on as often possibly... I actually fitted 2, one in front, and one behind. |

The fixings that go through the rad are awesome, very easy to fit and mine are still holding up strong, I fitted them 5 years ago now. ![]() ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone ![]() |

Mine's push, got no issues at all with cooling though, despite also having a large intercooler in front of it. ![]() ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone ![]() |

Mine runs lovely and cool, despite having an intercooler and 2 x 10" Spal fans in front of the rad, therefore I'm sure yours will be fine. ![]() Getting rid of the cowling does free up quite a lot of space though so gives you more options for positioning the oil cooler. ![]() ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone ![]() |
