Picked up a Rallye today and the oil temp gauge drops all the way down when I accelerate with full throttle. It will then climb back up within a couple of seconds on no throttle or part throttle. It sat steadily below 90 and every other gauge works just fine. Any ideas? ________________________________________ Beef Beyond Belief |

Dodgy instrument cluster or wiring leading from sensor most likely.________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Pretty sure they are yeh. I would pull the plug off the sensor as its on the front of the sump could get corroded easy. Worth a spray and a clean up then sort all the earths. Could always swap my clocks if it still don't cure it just to see if it fixes.________________________________________ Black power baby! I'll try the gearbox earth tomorrow. Ph3 clocks would look a lot nicer in the Rallye I think. ________________________________________ Beef Beyond Belief |
